my web.xml file just desappear, how can i get a file backup from history on eclipse IDE

    AFAIK, Eclipse don't keep history of the sources in workspace. If you are not using any version control system like CVS, there is no way to get it back.

    just try this.

    right click on the project and select "Replace from Local history" or some thing similar is there if the file is present then it will surely get back.

    First of all go to the physical location where your workspace is there and check inside the project if that file is present.
