How can I restore access to the recovery partition on IBM ThinkCenter PC?

After installing Windows server 2003 , the hidden recovery partition is there but the F11 key is not working any more.

I have cloned an identical hard disk drive running XP on my HDD and put the later into my PC but again the F11 gives nothing.

Any ideas please ?

The boot loader has made this a hidden partition. Change the attributes of the hidden partition to -h show it iwll not be hidden anymomre. Use a windows disk and you should be able to change the attributes on the partition.

Do you mean that if I use a disk partition utility to set the IBM system partition to active then I will restore functionality to the F11 button?
