Server failed to authenticate the user caroot (EC=-1)

Hi,

Brightstor Arcserve Backup v 11.0 - W2K Server

When I try to open Backup Manager I receive the error message in the subject title. I have reset the password on the caroot account in ADUC but it still keeps coming up.
This started after the server was rebooted.

Appreciate any help.

Start > run > Services.msc {enter}

Locate the Arcserve services > right click Each one > log on tab > change the password to the one you set in ADUC restart the services

Tried that - still no luck. The Arcserve services are running under the LocalSystem user account. Is the password for this account the same as the caroot account ?
