spools.exe : Safe to remove?

Hi. A trojan has been detected recently in one of our systems (Windows 2003 SP1) and the antivirus won't clean it. The file infected is c:\windows\system32\spool\spools.exe

If it can't be removed: how can I restore it from original installation? Thanks.

I read yesterday spools.exe was used by many trojans, but ... is it a system's file? Can I delete it safely?
