NERO 7 burner & DVD creation
I would be interested to upgrade from Nero 5 to Nero 7. However, before I do I need to clarify a little confusion. I read that this new version allows to transfer and burn MPEGs to DVD format. Among system requirements video devices listed are CD or DVD recordable / rewritable devices. I have separate CD writer and CD/DVD player device with my PC.
I do not think that I can produce DVD disks with my current set-up but I might be wrong. Please, experts, adivise what is the deal with NERO 7 and what should I do to allow myself burning DVDs.
Thank you,
Nick

you are having a CD writer which can burn CDs, but the other device is a CD\DVD player, which can "play" cds and dvds, you need a DVD writer device to burn DVDs.
so once you are having a DVD writer, you can upgrade to NERO7 and it will be a matter of minutes to burn Video DVDs.
