Problem with Outlook Security Hotfix KB892843: was it solved by Microsoft ?

time ago it was found that Outlook Security Hotfix KB892843 causes serious problems with "tasks" (i.e. assigned tasks do not appear in the tasks list, etc  etc....)

Does anybody know if this problem has been solved by Microsoft ?
If yes, how?

I know that you can uninstall that security fix but that is not feasable in my situation.

Thank you

    Greetings, macarone !

No, no fix for KB892843 interference with Tasks.  Microsoft is aware of the problem and is working on it. Other users are having the same probem. You may have to wait for service pack 2.

    Best wishes!

    Hi war1,

I accepted your answer. Do you have any idea of when Microsoft will fix this issue ? weeks, months?
It seems a pretty serious issue to me ...can't believe they haven't fixed it yet.

Next service pack should fix the problem.  SP 3 was to come out in March 2006.  It should come out soon.
