Convert PIXTIFF Version 55.1.218.851 to JPEG format in vb.net

Hi experts,

i have a few image files created in PIXTIFF Version 55.1.218.851. I want to write an application in vb.net, that will convert these files to .jpg

the file extension is .img, i couldn't open these files in any image viewer so i opened a file in notepad, thats how got the file details "PIXTIFF Version 55.1.218.851"

Hi,
If you rename the files to be with tif extension maybe you will be able to open them with some image viewer.

I tried changing the extension to .tif and .jpg. none worked. i tried opening in ms paint, still couldn't open.

MS Paint is quite a simple program. You'll need some more advanced one. You can try with Windows program Imaging, I don't know if it'll wotk. But there are plenty of image viewers out there.
