Exporting just the stage area of a movie to SWf
I am redoing a flash movie where the orginal artist has material which goes off of the stage area.
I'll call the stage area the "white" area and the non stage area around it the "grey area".
When I export to a swf file I get this extra "garbage" that is in the "grey area".
I don't see an option in swf export to export only the stage area.
Is there a way to do that? Or a way to crop out the material that is in the grey area?
Thanks

Hi
I finally figured out a workaround.
I just put a mask layer above the layer and used a rectange to cover just the area I wanted to export.
That worked perfectly. Croppiong the objects hanging out didn't work because they were from the library. So if I cropped one it would crop all over duplicates of that object which were repeated in the scene.

if it is on stage, it will get compiled as output..
No way to skip it.
if you totally want to remove that just select and delete them..
or if few object are partially hanging out of white area, just crop them accordingly.
