HI Experts,
Is there any library I can use in VB6
To develop finger print authentication??
I need to add this kind of security to our applications.

Our main application works with around twenty thousand customers
and we are willing to identify them by finger print.

I've never worked with biometrics before but now its a must.

Regards,

As far as VB6 being able to be utilized I'm not so sure... I've only used the software that comes with the scanner...

You should be aware of "hacking" on these readers, how someone not authorized can try and use the last persons finger print to authenticate themselves... works on most any I've used. http://www.yubanet.com/cgi-bin/artman/exec/view.cgi/8/28878
At our facility we have a hand scanner that maps various points on the back of your hand, rather than the finger print. This leads to far less false positives, and all but rules out someone using a "cast" or "mold" of your hand, it even measures the temperature of the hand to try to make sure it's not a mold or cast.
