HTML formatting...

I am looking for the HTML syntax that allows for a bit of text to link but not underline or change the color or font of the text.  I would like to link things so they don't look like links.

<a href="http://www.somedomain.com/somelink.html" style="text-decoration:none;">Link Text</a>

or with css..

<head>
<style type="text/css">
a {
    text-decoration: none;
}
a:hover {
    text-decoration: underline;
}
</style>
</head>

<body>
<a href="http://www.somedomain.com/somelink.html">Link Text</a>
</body>

you should really show some feedback to the user so that they know links are links. in the css example here, the hover effect underlines the text, but that could be taken out if you'd rather not have that.

I don't want ANY formatting and the HTML behind no formatting of ANY kind, underlines included.

<head>
<style type="text/css">

a, a:hover, a:visited, a:active, a:link {
    color: #000000;
    text-decoration: none;
}
</style>
</head>

<body>
<a href="http://www.somedomain.com/somelink.html">Link Text</a>
</body>

this removes all underlines and all color changes. you do need to specify what color to display the text, though. (example here is black)
