Create Mailbox in Exchange without a user account

You can do a quick little workaround...

Create a user account in AD. Then create the account in exchange, and associate it. Then delete the user account in AD and you'll still have the exchange account without an associated account with it.

I want to add careers@ourdomain.com address and I want to forward any inbound messages to two users. I won't need a mailbox since this mail will be forwarded. I am guessing a group would be the best senario.
As rmrustice mentioned:  create a new distribution group called careers for instance with the careers@ourdomain.com and then add the two users to that group.
you can use public folder with mail address that automatic forward the mail by rule
