Hi Expert,

1. I have joined my pc to domain call JHR. When i browse the entire network, i saw a lot of pc there. It's very messy. So i want to add my pc in another workgroup but still joined that domain.
2. When i go to printer setting, i saw a lot of printer. I want to see only printer that i use only.

ok you cannot be in both the domain or workgroup, onli 1 or teh other,

why do you want it seperated???

you use Active Directory for this, open up "Active Directory Users and Computers" and you will see the computers in there, you will then be able to create containers for them (Organizational Units)

As for printers where did you go see them

in "control panel" >>" printers and faxes"?

we need more info
Thanks

1. I want it separate coz i want to mangage it. not messy
Ok..from OU can i separate the computer follow by group?
how to make only the members can view only computer in their group?

2. I mean in START/printers and faxes, I can view all printer sharing in the domain

thanks
1. why do you want users to see what group their computer is in? It is best for it to be on a domain, NOT WORKGROUP. You can only have 1 not both.

2. If you delete the printers do you still see them?
OR
do you mean if you try and add a new NETWORK printer you see the list there?

You shouldnt see any printers unless you install them, If its a shared printer and the box is ticked "List in the directory" users will be able to see it.

where are the printers installed and shared? on the server?

From Active Directory...how to make user only can see the certain pc that I need. and others pc in domain they cannot see(from entire network). Because some pc have a sharing folder...so when they need to copy some file they can view it at that pc.

2. done. cannot see after deleted. the printer ticked "list in the directory".thank you so much
