NNTP newsreaders

I am new to newsgroups. Microsoft recommends a "NNTP newsreader". Does anyone have suggestions for a good NNTP newsreader?

Microsoft recommends Outlook Express. I'm not a big fan of outlook express.

    Also on their site is a list of non-windows newsreaders depending on what platform you prefer to use (mobile, pc, pda etc.).
    XNews seems to be the windows NNTP reader of choice, their website is

    There is another good one - called Grabit.  Simply good this, and you'll see it.
