Outlook Express - Buttons in the toolbar disapear after a while

One of our customer have a weird problem.

On a Win2000 station (virus / spyware free) , when the user left his outlook Express open for some hours, somes
of buttons in the toolbar disapear.
We format the pc, install the office & professional ERP soft and it's ok for a week..and last week
the customer phoned because the bug came back.

I don't understant why ...any idea who to fix it or why we have this bug.

I saw un EE answered question that spoke about the same problem but even if we fix or re-install IE6 & OE6, the problem is the same or come back the next business day.

Thanks for reading my poor english .

Best regards

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I ran across a site that refers to a similar situation but it involves modifying the registry.  If you decide to go forward with this suggestion, make sure to backup your registry before making any changes, otherwise you could render the computer inoperable!

Under PROBLEMS list, click on "Toolbars disappear from Message Composition windows or the main OE window"

Good Luck!
