Automate Virtual Machine Failover when ESX host fails

What's the best way to automated the starting on virtual machines on another ESX server host when the original host fails.  (VMware)

Check out "Distributed Availability Services" in the upcoming ESX3.  (It's still in beta)

I'm looking for something for production, I cant use beta software.  I heard of people writing scripts, etc. to automate this.

I think the msdn blog is for Virtual PC.  I need something for VMware ESX server.  I'm not a scriptor so I am looking for something pretty much complete.
