How to create barcode label that pushes crtl-s for me

I have a Symbol 3408 scan gun that i just bought. I would like to create a label either using Label Matrix or some freeware off the internet that will have a bar code on it. Once the bar code is scanned I want it to push crtl-s for me automaticlly. I know this is possible but i just can't find the option in label matrix or anywhere. Please help!!

You mean that once you scan, the label is automatically printing out? What is kinda printer you have there?

@punky..thank you!

page 79, CTRL-S sequence, you can embed in your code with Label Matrix

page 312 use the barcode for CTRL-S

Perhaps reviewing the manual in it's entirety would be prudent.  Also, if this solution works, then you need to split points between Punky and me.

tompkins1912Author Commented:
also i scan the bar code for crtl s and nothing happens.. what am i doing wrong? ( sorry but i am new to bar coding.)
You will create a program start from page 257 (how to), then you will have option to embed the ctrl s during setup. Creating program is to scan every scan start from page 265 if you dont want typing.

Create RULE ... Choose Code Type .... so on .....

Mr. Irwinpks provided correctly and very helpful link that give completed procedure. Please dont think split points, if you satify then he is the one helping to solve problem.

OK, I am NOT looking for the scanner to do it automaticlly i just want to scan a bar code and have the bar code do it for me. The way our app works is you scan the barcode and at the end of the bar code the scanner will press enter. The user then makes whatever changes to the order then presses crtl-s to save the order. I want to be able to scan a barcode that will press crtl-s instead of the user having to do it. Let me know if I am not making sense.

P.S. I will give you points if you contribute to the solution.

@tompkins1912...where are you with this? I was thinking letting you have some time to peruse the manual before getting back to you.  The comment I made on 4/18 is the final element that you need to get the scanner to work.  Though there are other inherent things that you have to prep BEFORE you even get to that point, considering you actually have to go through the first 78 pages.
