Hello,

I'm using Delphi 7 and trying to use the Command line compiler.  I use Eureka Log in this project.  I'm trying to compile with the following command:

dcc32 -B -DEUREKALOG Q_Goldseries.dpr

But I always get this error:

----------
Borland Delphi Version 15.0
Copyright (c) 1983,2002 Borland Software Corporation
Q_GoldSeries.Dpr(26) Fatal: File not found: 'ExceptionLog.dcu'
----------

This project compiles great from the command line.

Here's the content of my Q_Goldseries.dpr file:

--------------
Program Q_GoldSeries;

uses
  ExceptionLog,
  Forms,
  qocMain in 'qocMain.Pas' {frmQOCMain},
  sDM in 'sDM.Pas' {dm: TDataModule},
  sProject in 'sProject.Pas' {dlgProject: TFCEmbeddedForm},
  sCollector in 'sCollector.Pas' {dlgCollector: TFCEmbeddedForm},
  sCompile in 'sCompile.Pas' {dlgCompile: TFCEmbeddedForm},
  sOptions in 'sOptions.Pas' {dlgOptions: TFCEmbeddedForm},
  sDischarge in 'sDischarge.Pas' {dlgDischarge: TFCEmbeddedForm},
  gsDefs in 'gsDefs.Pas',
  sInspector in 'sInspector.Pas' {frmInspector},
  sCustom in 'sCustom.Pas' {dlgCustom: TFCEmbeddedForm},
  srcRTFEditor in 'srcRTFEditor.Pas' {dlgEditor},
  srcCustomItem in 'srcCustomItem.Pas' {frmCustomItem: TFCEmbeddedForm},
  sSnips in 'sSnips.Pas' {frmSnips},
  sFans in 'sFans.Pas' {dlgFans: TFCEmbeddedForm},
  srcCustomers in 'srcCustomers.Pas' {frmCustomers},
  srcRepData in 'srcRepData.Pas' {frmRepData},
  srcProjectManager in 'srcProjectManager.Pas' {frmProjectManager},
  srcWorkSheet in 'srcWorkSheet.Pas' {frmWorkSheet},
  fanPerf in 'fanPerf.Pas' {frmFanPerformance},
  sCurveViewer in 'sCurveViewer.Pas' {frmCurveViewer},
  srcBrowseCopy in 'srcBrowseCopy.Pas' {frmBrowseCopy};

{$R *.res}

Begin
    Application.Initialize;
    Application.Title := 'Gold Series QOC';
    Application.HelpFile := 'Support Files\Help\GoldSeries.hlp';
  Application.CreateForm(TfrmQOCMain, frmQOCMain);
  Application.CreateForm(Tdm, dm);
  Application.CreateForm(TfrmInspector, frmInspector);
  Application.CreateForm(TdlgEditor, dlgEditor);
  Application.CreateForm(TfrmSnips, frmSnips);
  Application.CreateForm(TfrmCustomers, frmCustomers);
  Application.CreateForm(TfrmRepData, frmRepData);
  Application.CreateForm(TfrmProjectManager, frmProjectManager);
  Application.CreateForm(TfrmWorkSheet, frmWorkSheet);
  Application.CreateForm(TfrmFanPerformance, frmFanPerformance);
  Application.CreateForm(TfrmCurveViewer, frmCurveViewer);
  Application.CreateForm(TfrmBrowseCopy, frmBrowseCopy);
  Application.Run;
End.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

In which directory is the ExceptionLog.pas (or dcu) located?

You probably should add it using a "-UC:\EurekaDir" to the command line.

If you code compile correctly in Delphi you can look at the settings:

Project
Options
Directories/Conditionals
Search Path

or

Tools
Environment options
Library
Library path

To find where the sources of EurekaLog are located
