"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You've posted this in the wrong area.

However, Outlook can be set to ignore attachments that may be dangerous. On the PC that does not show the screendumo, open Outlook Express (I don't have Outlook, but it should be similar) and go to Tools > Options > Security. There should be an option there to open potentially dangerous attachments.

the machine that it is not working in may be set to plain text. Go to Tools >options> use MSword to view rich text.
