MS Reporting Services--Adding text before Report Paramaters

I have a report in MS Reporting Services with a few parameters on it, but of course when I run the report it only asks for the parameters.  I would like to add some verbage at the very beginning before it even asks for the parameters.  I have tried a header, but that still only shows after you have put your parameters in and have hit submit.  How can I do this?  I only want this verbage there on the screen not when you do an export.  Can you help?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What are you trying to achieve by adding this text?  Is it supposed to be some sort of message/instructions displayed before the user runs the report, or are you after the user to type something that isn't used in the report (which seems a bit pointless!).

They are message/instructions only, but point out some important fields that are being searched.

Can this be done.  If so, how?  Does no one in here know MS Reporting Services that well?

Patience is a virtue - remember most experts like myself have a full time job and comments on questions are done in our spare time!  We don't get paid for it.

A few choices:
- Add the instructions into the report description (best option)
- Set the default values of your report parameters to a Null or Blank value so that the report runs on opening but returns no data.  Then have a textbox within your report that displays the instructions, and set it's visibility to a parameter.  By default the instructions would show, and then when the user selects parameters, they set the instructions parameter to 'off' to hide the instructions.
- Write a procedure in Word outside of RS with screen prints etc
