java books

Hey all,

I am trying to find some good learning material for some colleges. Primarily they are c++ programmer and they have to learn how to use some new applications I have wrote using Java Server Faces.

I have a tutorial on JSF/JSP for them however I don’t really want to write a Java tutorial as well (way to much work)

So just wanted to know if anyone knows of some good core Java Books? or Learning Videos really want one of those Java for C++ developers books as they don’t need to learn the basics of programming just the specifics of the java language

Any recommendations for learning material ??

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
