Adding two xp home pcs to domain

Hi All,

I am setting up a network with windows 2003 sbs server and exchange.

I have two laptops that have xp home,
Will this be a problem as xp home cant be added to a domain, or would setting laptops as workgroup be ok for exchange etc.
Is it exspensive to upgrade to xp pro and where can you get the software?
Thanks Stephen

Hi cstephen100,

you will have to upgrade to pro my friend

you can buy an xp pro upgrade for a couple of hundred (AU dollars) and can get it from any major computing joint - and small ones too i would hope!

Cheers!

It should be no more than $250 per laptop for the XP Pro upgrade.
