Crystal reports 9 RAS receiving HTTP 500 errors

I am running Crystal 9.0 Developer with the RAS on a Windows 2003 server.  Everything worked great for the past year until yesterday.  Our clients would click an icon that launched the reportListing.asp page and the Reports would come up to view.  Now when you try to run a report the end user gets HTTP 500 error.  Any ideas on how to fix. Someone HELP

What you might be able to do to help diagnose this problem is to enable friendly error messages so you get a little more information about what is going wrong.

The obvious question is what changed on the server?  Did someone change the identity of one of your application pools?  Some of the Crystal components needs to use the Network Service identity - perhaps someone locked this ID out of one of the required resources?

Are you using any application servers like WebSphere or WebLogic?

Agree something has changed on the server.

First need to find out if its RAS or the web server.  Can you access any asp pages on the web server? Did you try restarting IIS and the RAS services?
