Epson FX-1170 in windows XP

Hi,

Before my operating system is windows 98. In Paper settings of this printer Custom is the best
setting for my report. But when I upgarde my os to Windows Xp, I could not find the Custom
setting.

Can you help me please?

I got your point. but the problem is that the printer will eject the whole page. if i have a dimension that is 8.50 inches by 5.50 inches meaning half of the paper. What setting should i use in order that the paper will stop or eject at the half of the page?

Have you tried setting the Units to English, height to 5.50 and the Width to 8.50 ?

yes, its units is set to english. but the problem is when it reaches the half page the printer positions the paper in a tear off. mean the whole page. what i want is if it finish printing it will just position to the halfpage and not the whole page.

If it is still printing then it sounds lke the program you are printing from may have some large margins set or something... or the paper size is wrong. What program are you printing from?

im using visual fox pro. before it was windows 98 i used the customn size.
