Printing highlighted text in Outlook 2003

When I recieve an html email with highlighted text, the text prints fine but the highlighted color behind the text does not print. I can see the highlight color in the email but not on the printed page. I am printing to o a xerox phasor 6250. Is this an Outlook setting or by design......

    Hi dosmanix,

    1.  Open Internet Explorer.
    2.  Click Tools->Internet Options
    3.  Click the Advanced tab.
    4.  Scroll down to the Printing options.
    5.  Check the "Print background colors and images" box.

    Be forewarned that this applies to everything you print in IE, not just Outlook.
