Wanting to connect a USB device to my laptop using a wireless connection

I have a USB device(controls stage lighting) that connects to my laptop thru USB.....so since I have a "hard connection" to this device, it limits where I can be.  I would like to be able to use the internal wireless card on my laptop to send and receive information to this USB device....sooooo......is there something I can plug my USB device into that will communicate with my laptop thru wireless....or am I dreaming?

Thanks

Todd

I'm not sure any of the items at the below links will work but suspect they would be good choices for interest.

I know the above are wireless and do have a USB plug.  I don't know if they are setup in a way that they may or may not be compatible with your system.

Hope this Helps!!!

I think you want "Cable-Free USB," which is new.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Belkin is going to release this until July, though that's only a couple of months away.
