Win XP - Should there be a user called "SYSTEM" in My Network/Security/Users

We recently had an intrusion on our computer which has been removed. I was noticing we have a user called "SYSTEM" in My Network Properties in the Secuiryt tab and then listed users.

This may be an obvious one but worth asking....

Should we have a user called "SYSTEM" on this list.

We have all of our usually users list OK...

Just trying to tighten up security...

    yes this is fine - mine has the same setup and so do all xp machines
