Unable to add folder '_vti_bin' to the Web"

I've been trying to publish a web site through VS 2005, using server extensions 2002.
Files are being uploaded fine, but I always get the following error at the end of publishing:

"Unable to add folder '_vti_bin' to the Web.   '_vti_bin' does not refer to a page or folder in this web.  It may be a page or folder in a subweb, or it could be a badly formed URL."

(Of course, the web pages doesn't work.)

Help is needed,

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
