Splash screen while .NET Framework loads

I have a managed C++ application. As we know - The JIT step takes a long time when the application is first loaded. Is there anyway to show the user a splash screen during that time?
I was thinking to create another, not-managed, exe that will show the splash screen and launch the managed (.NET) application. I would like to ask for a .NET expert opinion about my idea. Is there a more elegant way to avoid my users staring at an empty screen?

You mean you want to have the splash right after the exe is clicked to run right?
Framework can take a couple of seconds to run on some machines.

1st- I don't think it worths the effort.
You can show the splash normally and it will show not intantly but will take a couple of seconds max.

2nd. On really slow machines you could experience errors like the user trying to run the application again while one process is already started.
On these cases you have other ways to prevent multiple instances of the same app.

3rd. You're right, if there's a worthy way, the splash must be unmanaged and then you'll have to sync 2 objects one managed and other unmanaged.

Think about that...
How much time does it take now to run?
Did you tried a simple splash screen usage?
