Opening other users folders

If I have a users mailbox with various folders in them, and that user wants to share those folders with certain other users.  How do I open those folders from someone elses outlook?  When you go to open, other users folder, the only folders listed are the general default folders.  The folders I want to share are not in the inbox, they are in separate folders in the mailbox.  Any tips on how to accomplish this.  Users just want to share certain folders in their mailbox with other users, but we can't figure out how to open those folders on another users PC in outlook.

If they want to share folders, the best way is to use Exchange Public Folders. To share "non-standard" folders, they could grant delegate access, but that is probably far more rights than should be given in a case like this.

I agree, in the future we are going to do as you said.  For now, we found out if we add the other users mailbox under "open these additional mailboxes" then they could browse to the folders they have rights to.  So We got it, but your absolutely right!
