"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The reason why this is happening is that your TEMP files folder is full.. go to IE6, then TOOL -INTERNET OPTIONS... delete your Temporary files.

Hello there,

To change it from Bitmap to Jpeg all you have to do is change when "save as type" to Jpeg. also you can change the file extension to .jpg

ex pic.bmp = bitmap
    pic.jpg = Jpeg

Hope this helps
