forgot password for customised form in Public folders in Outlook 2000

I have a customised contacts form in the public folders of Outlook 2000. The scripts behind the form updates an SQL database.
Recently we migrated from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 and since then the SQl database has not been updated. I'm guessing it may be the scripts behind the form(or in Exchange) but cannot access it as the form is password protected and nobody knows the password. Is my assumption correct? Is there a way of recovering the password?
