ZoneAlarm and Security Alerts

I just installed Zone Alarm (Free One) on my new Win XP SP-2  PC.  and I am temporarily allowing the Security Alerts open tell me about the attempts at accessing my PC.  The alert always gives a number like: (DNS).  Anyway to figure out what, where, why, who is trying to access my PC ?
Just curious..

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can lookup IP addresses to see who owns them if you'd like: is a great site.

The IP you gave is from Alltel.  ZoneAlarm picks the stuff up, but it's not like everything is really an attack, it's just unsolicited traffic that is being blocked, which is a good thing.  Of course, if you do have a public ip, I'm sure your workstation will get scanned many many times ;-)

Great Link. Just what I was looking for.  But which "Look-up" do I use to find the DNS number ?
Thanks for the pts!  I typically use whois lookup, or ipwhois lookup.  Either one will take an IP address.
