Auto fill in Word Mac 2004 (get rid of or edit)

In MS Office Word Mac 2004, whenever I start to type, MS Word suggests names (and people) or words in a yellow highlighted box above where I am typing.  This is very annoying.

How can I get rid of this (or at least edit what gets suggested)

Drag down the Tools Menu to Autocorrect

this is called the "autocomplete tip" and get its info from a list of autotext entries as well as from your contacts (if you like so).

to get rid of it, go to the "tools" menu, select "autocorrect..."
click on the third tab, this is "autotext"
untick the boxes according ot your liking. when you untick the first the function is disabled

to add entries to the list the autotext function draws from, add them in the white box in the same dialog box.

let me know if you still experience trouble.
good luck
rogier.
