libpng-1.2.9 installation?

While installing libpng-1.2.9 on linux(Slackware-10.1)
I get the following error make:

NetMon:~/libpng/libpng-1.2.8/scripts# make
make: *** No rule to make target `png.h', needed by `png.o'.  Stop.

 how can i fix it

    Accepted Solution

    In the libpng source directory, look for png.h "e.g. find . -type f -name png.h -print".
    Manually copy this file to /usr/include
