Cannot create ActiveX component.

Hi all,

I am using the following line on my VB.NET Visual Studio 2005 application:
RedItem = CreateObject("Redemption.SafeMailItem")

And everytime it Result with "Cannot create ActiveX component.".

The component is registered in the system with regsvr32 and it was installed properly. Basically the object create an instance to outlook and get messages from it,.

What am I doing wrong?

are all the requirements of this component are also installed (may VB run times and others) ?

Add the dll as a reference to your project and then you can use object browser to check if Redemption.SafeMailItem is the right way to instantiate the object.
