Is there a potential dangerous to mixed HTML tag with JSF tag

Is there a potential dangerous to mixed HTML tag with JSF tag (without using <f:verbatim> to surround html tag)? Although until now I do not encounter problem.
eg
<f:view>
<div>
<f:outputText value="dd" />
</div>
<table>
...
</f:view>

<f:verbatim> tag is used around your markup to make it >>JSF friendly. Using verbatim force the embedded text to be processed by JSF and not by jsp handler. So, in order to make the tags to be handled by JSF, use verbatim.

mixing JSF and non-JSF tags are definitely considered as dangerous. Because in JSF the JSF tree is handled first and rendered..anything else than JSF tags are rendered later on...It can have very major sideeffects if you are mixing for ex. JSTL tags and JSF tags. OR tiles-JSF tags.

Following link is one of the example which says it is dangerous
http://www.jsf-resources.com/2006/02/20/tiles-jsf-issues/

and if you make a simple googling..you will find many places, where using verbatim is encouraged and mixing is discouraged.
