WIC not recognized

Hi.
Continue to get great responses here...so thanks in advance. My WIC card (WIC-4ESW=) is not being recognized by my 2611 router, the following error occurs: 00:00:07: %PQUICC-1-UNKNOWN_WIC: PQUICC(0), WIC card has an unknown ID of 0xFF
00:00:11: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Ethernet0/0, changed s
00:00:11: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Ethernet0/0, changed s

My IOS version is: (C2600-JSX-M), Version 12.2(13), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

I'm thinking my IOS needs to be updated or I need a different router...but need to check. I just have a standard 2611 with 64/16.

Thanks for your responses.

Standard 2611?  Sorry, keep dreaming.  I think you'll need an x8xx (1800/2800/3800) for any of the ESW WICs.
