Hi Guys,

I've configured Hotmail Internet Mail settings in Outlook 2003 using already predefined Server URL for Hotmail. But error occured during Send & Receive i.e. "Hotmail: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error (0x800CCCF0) : 'The service is currently unavailable. Try again later. The server responded 'Service Unavailable'. ". For certain, I've checked email address, username (same as email address) and password are correct. May I know how to solve this issue? Thanks.

Greetings, rs-250 !

Are you using a free Hotmail account or Hotmail paid account?  With free Hotmail account, you are no longer allowed to access Hotmail using Outlook unless you were grandfathered in back in April 27, 2004.

If you have a paid account or grandfathered in free account, make sure to select Httpmail as your protocol, not POP3 or IMAP.   Here is how to configure Hotmail in Outlook 2003:

Hi there,

Really? it worked ok last week but now since I've restore back my machine, I've got this problem. Thanks for the info. Seems like I've got to subscribe Gmail after this.
