Hi all,

I want to trace which sites (google, yahoo...) refers to my site. I am using $_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"] but I get an empty string.

I am using the code below at my home page.
$ref=$_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"];

I search my site in yahoo and google then click on the result list but I got an empty string. How can I deal with it? Should i configure something on php.ini?

Thanks.

If you have installed zone alarm on your pc, then you will get  $_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"] empty.
