VBA, Excel or VB (not .NET)

I have several excel files named seq. 1,2,3..N; containing the same col names, I need to use a macro or VB appl. to open new execl and extract the data from sheet1 from each excel file and put it in sheet1 of the new excel file.

I need to ask for the first & last excel file name every time I want to do that.

Thanks Rossi,

Last night I worked on the problem and solve it using VB6, but this macro is much easier and nice looking.

The issue here is the HEADER col. in each excel file we are combining, the lazy users want to remove it automatically.

Any help in this regard.
