netscreen remote and umts

I'm running netscreen remote VPN-Client and connecting to a Netscreen Firewall

The tunnel is built correctly if I use a ADSL or a dial-up connection.

When I try to connect through a UMTS connection, an problem occures in the ike phase 1. It is retransmitting 3 times and the connection could not be made.

What can I do to make this work?

Is there a firewall or router on the UMTS connection blocking UDP500 or Protocol 50?

The NS box probably doesn't show anything in the logs right?

Are you unplugging the NS external interface and plugging it into the UMTS?
Are you changing the routing configurations appropriatly?
