monitor com+

Hi

Is there any way to monitor com+? We have a 3 tiered application and com+ is used extensively. Is there any way to monitor whether the object in use is actually working or at what level it's working at?

cheers!

The easiest way is to set up your own logging.  I just finished a COM+ application and I just added logging for when calling different methods, plus a timer to say how long it took each method to run.  Setting up your own logging would be the most beneficial way to go.

I think you can get a freeware version from here:

can you use component service to monitor?

You can see the object spinning, but it doesn't tell me how hard it's working or how many times it's being accessed or anything. I was thinking more along the lines of perfmon or something similar....
