Windows 2000 is rebooting

One of my windows 2000 workstation is not loading. It starts and load windows 2000 screen then it shows blue screen with some error for less then a sec and then it restart. I tried to read it many times but hard to read anything.

what should I do? I do have windows 2000 disk, should I try manual recovery? I tried that but what command should I run?

I'll suggest to check your RAM sticks. Try replacing from another PC. Maximum time faulty RAM causes this kind problem.

Hope this helps

this may sound stupid but does windows 2000 provide a diff CD for workstation? I tried re-install windows 2000 from server version CD and it ask for server serial num, where does it ask for if I want to install server or work station?

r-kCommented:
Yes, the two CD's (workstation or server) are completely different. You can't install one from the other. The server CD clearly says server, and the workstation says something like "Professional".
