HP 6122 will print test page and nothing else

Hi all.

I have an HP 6122 that prints the test page but nothing else (word, excel, webpage). We have uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it. We have gone on the HP website and done an online scan and it says we have the latest driver. We tried connecting another printer but it did not print.

We are able to send a job to a network printer (Brother) but it does not seem to want to print to the HP 6122 which is attached to it via a USB cable. When you press print, the printer gets the paper and it runs it through the printer and it seems as if it is printing but it spits out a blank paper, and I like I said it prints the test page from the properties window. Any ideas?

install the printer to ANOTHER computer.. does it work?

Also, follow the installation instructions.. you may have to install the driver BEFORE you attach the printer.

Confirm that the printer is actually working on another machine, post your results

I switched printers and it worked fine. I moved the 6122 computer and it works fine. It was a quick temporary fix, thanks for the help.
