Allowing users to change/create e-mail addresses in Active Directory

Hi All,
     Here is the environment:

W2K3 R2 Active Directory
Exchange 2003 W/SP2

I have delegated the Exchange View only permissions to the correct security group. The only problem is that members of that group cannot add/change e-mail addresses. I would like to delegate the permission to change/add and e-mail address to a user principle without granting the Exchange Administrator privilege. Thanks in advance for any help!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You will need to do some delegation in ADUC.

Open ADUC on the Exchange Server, right click on the domain and choose Delegate Control.

It will need to be a custom task - although I haven't got my notes on exactly which one. From what I remember it was pretty straight forward which ones needed to be enabled.

Simon.
