I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Wow, thanks for the quick responses.
Well, looks like sp1 sucessfully installed with no major errors. This server
however is only my backup domain controller. I am hosting the following
apps: 1. An Ftp Site,  2.  Sus Server,  3. Trendmicro Server Protect
         4. A web application for our mainframe.

I've verified all 4 apps and they seem to be running just fine.

Thanks again,
I will load sp1 on my main server this week-end since I'll have a backup from
Friday night.

thanks again more to come...
I guess I wont lose any sleep tonight..
cheers!!

Just a heads up; although SP1 has been pretty well trouble free there are some issues with a few specific models of  Dell and HP servers. Seems to affect SBS more than standard but if you have one of these servers you might want to check the Dell or HP site, both have the required updates/patches to install before sp1.

Only apply the patches if your server is specified as one affected.

You two may be "stark raving mad...." I'm just senile.
I was just reviewing some old questions tonight. I always like to see how things turn out. Seem to learn a lot from that.
