Limiting SBS to only allow connections from a few IPs

I have a hosted spam/virus service and i want to lock down my SBS 2003 machine to only accept email from the servers at this service (I still get spam sent directly to my server).  I set it up the Default SMTP virtual server to only accept connections from these particular IPs (under Connection Control) but I continue to get spam sent directly to the server.  Where do I configure this?  I looked at the SmallBusiness SMTP Connector but didn't see anything there.

I tried telnetting from a remote location and it was in fact working.  The issue was with the spam software, not SBS.  thanks for the help
