See MySQL instance over the network

Hi

A few month ago, i found a function into that site about being able to see all the Mysql instance into the network.

 http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Programming_Languages/Delphi/Q_21243191.html?    query=GetSQLServers&topics=85

I did the function and return me all the MySQL that i have into the network.. except for the Localhost.  is there any way for me to have localhost appears?

Thanks.

Maybe the version of MySQL on your localhost is newer that the others... perhaps the SV_TYPE_SQLSERVER    =  $00000004; is obsolete...
Just guessing.
Not very familiar with the code on the other question where the above link points.

yes... my version of mysql is 4.18 and the other might be 4.1.1.2 ..or 4.1.1.3. but i don't think it could be that ...   I see the other, i dont see mine.. and i'm runing the program from my station...
