Help I need some answers before I make a mistake on giving hardware recommendations to my IT Manager:

Running Solaris (8 preferred but 9 or 10 is okay) and Oracle 9i Enterprise Database, please rate the following CPU's for performance, on a scale from 1 to 10 for comparison. Assume that about 70 or so users are querying the database (mabey a couple terabytes in total size??) at random times throughout the day, and the server connects to a san for storage:

1) 4 x 750Mhz UltraSparcIII

2) 2 x 1200Mhz UltraSparcIII

3) 1 x 8-Core UltraSparc T1

4) 2 x 2-Core AMD Opteron
