creating multiple pdf pages

is there any way to create multiple pages inside one pdf without acrobat?

In Mac OS X, simply print-to-pdf from any application.

i have 10 tif files.. can i use preview tool to change 10 tif files into one pdf file?

Import them to iPhoto. Then select the photos, click print, and the from the PDF dropdown menu at the bottom left of the print window that opens, select save as PDF.

Only Adobe's paid applications can combine multiple PDF files into a single PDF file.

No, but he can certainly use iPhoto to "print" multiple photos onto the same PDF. Just select them all and click print. Then choose "Save as PDF".
